If you think you might be low on beads in your filter, you can use the following calculator to help determine how many ponds of bead you need to add. The filter tank should be empty of water with the beads resting on the bottom of the tank. Remove the clear lid and then measure the distance from the top of the beads to the very top edge of the tank.
